How to Buy

Bringing home a parrot is a big decision. Here's exactly how the process works.

  1. Get in touch

    Send us an inquiry about the bird or species you're interested in. We'll chat about your home, experience and what you're looking for.

  2. Reserve with a deposit

    A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the price holds your bird. The deposit can be transferred to another bird if something changes on our end.

  3. We finish weaning

    Babies only go home once they're fully weaned and eating on their own. We'll send photo and video updates along the way.

  4. Pickup or shipping

    Pay the balance and bring your new friend home. Pick up in Milford, Ohio by appointment, or we can ship your bird via Delta Air Lines (additional charges apply).

  5. Ongoing support

    We're happy to answer questions for the life of your bird.

🎁 Every bird goes home with

  • A starter bag of the food they're used to
  • A printed care sheet for their species
  • Hatch date, leg band ID and health records
  • DNA sexing certificate (where tested)

🩺 Health

Every bird is inspected by a veterinarian for disease before going home.

💳 Payment

We accept cash or Zelle. The balance is due at pickup or before shipping.

🚗 Pickup & shipping

Local pickup is by appointment in Milford, Ohio. We can also ship your bird via Delta Air Lines — additional charges apply, so ask us for a quote.
